Overview
Positivity (positivity.org) is a wellness and personal growth content platform. We are committed to respecting your privacy and being transparent about the minimal data we collect.
Information We Collect
Automatically Collected
- Analytics data: Pages visited, content interactions, and general usage patterns. This is collected via Cloudflare Zaraz (a privacy-focused analytics proxy) which anonymises your IP address before it reaches any analytics provider.
- Security data: Cloudflare, our hosting provider, processes IP addresses and request headers for security and performance.
Information You Provide
- Newsletter subscription: When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and (optionally) your name. This is the only personal data we store.
We do not: require user accounts, collect passwords, store personal profiles, use tracking pixels, or set analytics cookies.
How We Use Your Information
- Newsletter: To send you positivity content, wellness tips, and updates you subscribed to. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Analytics: To understand which content resonates with our audience and improve the platform (anonymised, no personal identification).
- Security: To protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access.
Newsletter & Email
- We store your email address securely when you subscribe.
- We send emails only related to positivity content and site updates — never spam or third-party marketing.
- Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us directly to be removed.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Cookies
We use only essential security cookies set by Cloudflare (__cf_bm, cf_clearance). We do not set analytics or tracking cookies. Google Analytics runs through Cloudflare Zaraz in a cookieless configuration. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Data Retention
- Newsletter subscribers: Email addresses are retained while your subscription is active. Upon unsubscribing, your data is deleted within 30 days.
- Analytics: Aggregated usage data retained for up to 14 months (GA4 default). No personal identifiers.
- Security logs: Retained by Cloudflare per their data retention policy.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request what personal data we hold (typically just your email if subscribed).
- Deletion: Unsubscribe and request deletion of your email address.
- Correction: Update your email or subscription preferences.
- Withdraw consent: Unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time.

Children's Privacy
Our content is suitable for all ages, but newsletter subscriptions are intended for individuals aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect email addresses from children under 16.
