## Boronia Station in Melbourne’s east just got a big upgrade. The place feels safer, greener, and more welcoming—not just for commuters, but anyone in the neighborhood.

## A New Plaza Connects the Station to the Community

Getting around is easier now, especially with the new plaza on Dorset Road.

They’ve filled it with:

- Fresh plants

- Comfy seating

- Open areas where you can hang out for a bit

The space connects the station right to the shopping precinct, so it feels less like a stop-and-go place and more like part of the community.

## Station Design Inspired by the Dandenong Ranges

The new entrance canopies look pretty slick, too.

They’re designed to echo the plants from the Dandenong Ranges, giving the whole station a bit of local character.

## Safer and Easier to Navigate

A lot of the changes tackle day-to-day hassles as well.

The concourse is bigger, lighting’s brighter, and there’s CCTV for extra peace of mind.

Walking paths and signs are clearer.

It’s easier to find your way around, and the station connects better to nearby streets.

## More Comfortable and Accessible Platforms

When you’re on the platform, you’ll notice more shelters and seats, with revamped toilets and waiting areas.

If you’re carrying luggage, pushing a pram, or using a wheelchair, these updates make a real difference—especially late at night.

## More Than Just a Train Station

But honestly, it’s not just about catching a train.

With better accessibility, more green space, and safer connections, Boronia feels like it belongs to the people who use it.

> Upgrades like this aren’t just about infrastructure—they make daily routines easier and turn public transport spaces into something more.

## Turning an Everyday Commute Into Something Better

A fresh station, safer pathways, and inviting public spaces—they turn a regular commute into something a little more enjoyable.
